At the end of June I went to back to Colorado Springs for nearly 3 weeks. I made my first trip to the Springs back Easter 2006 and thought it was time I made another trip over. It was great to hang out with friends again and to meet up with friends that I had not seen in a very long time (7 years for one friend). The weather was great, the home I stayed in was fantastic (thankyou Dennis and Diana). I experienced my first 4th July celebration which was brill. Having 27 peeps over for breakfast that morning was amazing and when Dennis was asked to say the grace - he spoke a few words and instead of praying we sang Amazing Grace - 27 peeps holding hands and singing this beautiful song was very overwhelming for me. Memorial Park that evening was spectacular - great company, great chicken, great weather and a proper fireworks display was enjoyed by all. There was laughter, tears of joy and of sadness on this trip and I will never forget it. I have been to Colorado Springs twice now and have fantastic memories from both trips. I pray for the day that I will be able to return again.
